Excellent video but reading your method just seems to be a bit complicated and time consuming.
I just use Bandicam to record and if i want other cam views views just pause the recording, switch cams and then restart the recording.
I use the Intel H264 codec which seems to load much faster than many vids posted.

Yes, it is a bit time consuming, but for me it’s a fun activity. With some practice it may become a quicker process. But right now I’m in quarantine, so k__ling time is really an added bonus…

oh i see , if you invite your best friend round , and he slips your mrs a portion , is he still your best friend ,

Nice work! I had often thought about doing something like this for myself but I’m too lazy. Using one audio track from the best source is a great idea

In 1080p the video would have been too big to upload to the forum, that’s why it’s 1280x720 pixels. It is the H264 codec though.

1500 kbps 25 fps You can reduce a bitrate

Ok, at 25 fps I could get a small enough 1080p file, but I’m pretty much convinced that for my videos the higher resolution would make no sense. If I’m not mistaken the VHTV cameras deliver 1080p streams. My videos are zoomed in, in this case they represent less than half the height and width of the original stream, they contain less visual information than a 960x540p video. And the VHTV streams are already highly compressed and contain comparatively little visual information to begin with. I honestly don’t think it would look better in 1080p, I’d just have an even higher number of pixels representing one pixel of the camera. So I think I can better go with a lower resolution and invest the bitrate I can use into other factors, like higher framerate and less compression artifacts.

There’s many experiments yet to be done, I’ve never tried a lower framerate, but in the end it will probably be the zoom factor, and not the resolution of my uploaded files, the sets the limits of how good my videos can look. And that’s trade I’m willing to make as I aesthetically dislike the wide angles of the webcams.

since you are not working with the original full screen of the cameras, 1080p from the end result probably makes little sense. you end up with a digital zoom that doesn’t make the picture any better. if I look at the picture section you’re there at most with 1000x600 pixels. so if I were you, I wouldn’t go any larger than 720p with 25fps. this is slightly enlarged, but not too much

That’s why I usually choose 720p. So far I’ve been using iMovie which will only do 16:9 aspect ratio video in 540p, 720p, 1080p or 4k (if your source material is big enough) and it would do all those only in 60fps. This limitation is the main reason why I’m now trying out Shotcut. I’ll probably do some tests with 25 fps framerate soon.

Did this topic just get super technical ,"codec -1080p-720p-25fps-framerate-pixels "jesus think we need an Enigma machine to follow this now

Video training on VHTV … what you can’t get here …

If someone says you look at a porn forum, no … I’m learning how to edit the best videos and what formats there are …
