VHTV and the Chamber of Chatters

Its sad that as adults, we can’t have different opinions without arguing and insults being tossed around. This is why i rarely post anything because i’m not going to argue because we don’t agree on an issue

That is also, as you are saying, what I am trying what I can to avoid. So that is why also I have become more careful. To avoid arguing on an issue. :slightly_smiling_face: :hugs:

very few arguments on here most are just difference of opinions leading to heated discussions , if your not able to realise this .it best to not say anything , you have to realise this is a forum and the concept is based on members communicating with each other by typing text on what they see or believe they see , members need to grow a pair and learn to stand there ground in the face of adversity,

Anyone who wants to argue and/or insult you, just ignore them. Never be hesitant to express your opinion my friend

I like the way at least some is trying to stop the heated development by saying: I have an opinion. So do you. Nice way of dealing with it. :fire:

Oh, thank you so much. Maybe a little bit exaggerated, but I will take that any day. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Not exaggerated at all, I have always heard English is a difficult language to learn, I wouldn’t know because it’s my native tongue. But your English is indeed impressive

I have always heard that norwegian is basically a difficult language to learn. It is my native language, but luckily norwegian and english have striking similarities. Maybe I am saying that because I am able to compare because I am norwegian and therefore can see things differently. But it is absolutely true. According to me. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :slightly_smiling_face:

I didn’t know of the similarities. Maybe learning a different language would be interesting. I am 62, do you think it’s too late for me? Lol!

No never too late to learn a foreign language. I learned english originally for the very first time when I was around 16 years old. So never too late for that. :slightly_smiling_face: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

during my high school years, I tried learning French then Spanish, but I did nothing but fail miserably.

There are also a couple of other norwegians in here in addition to me. Strangely enough we speak english to each other anyway. I tried to learn french aswell in high school, but that failed miserably I am afraid. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I also learned german very well once. But sadly I have not practiced it by using it or talking it for several years as in many years. The result of that is that I have laid it on ice and “forgotten” it a little bit. I understand it perfectly when others write it here so that is no problem though. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :slightly_smiling_face:
