Begin to feel sorry for the guy. He goes out in the middle of the (cold) night to get medicines, buys her flowers and probably hoped for a different reaction.

If she’s not feeling well, he should understand it. She probably was going to give a reaction like that especially if she was had already just taken her medicine.
