Fire hazard from a charging phone? Of course when the battery starts burning but then basically everything will burn. Other than that a charging phone will never reach temperatures needed to set something on fire.

I was a computer technician for 25 years, I have seen circuit boards catch fire if the cooling vents are blocked, like by a stuffed chili pepper!
