My thought is that most wars in the past end in a peace treaty leading to a more durable peace. Now less than half do. But that being said “should” there be a peace treaty or any agreement to a cessation of war there is absolutely no doubt that Putin will demand the arrest warrant be dropped.
And you’re right, The rules at the International Criminal Court state that the accused must be present. He would have to be captured outside of Russia, and like as if he’s leaving! well unless he’s abducted and … Oh well it was a nice thought! 
As long as he’s in power and or protected he will continue to live in the lap of luxury.
At this rate they probably will. Next we will likely see weapons like crossbows, catapults, polearms, and battering rams entering the war. It shows just how much armour they have lost in Ukraine.
