They look like what’s known in the US as silver dollar pancakes because they’re about the size of an American silver dollar. I could be completely wrong.

I posted a pic in the food/cooking topic of Gella making the same thing, where I suggested it is blini, an Eastern European variant of pancakes. Flora answered there that it is pancakes. @letsdothis suggested silver dollar pancakes. Whatever it is, fully agree on your quote above

Ta but they are not pancakes as we in the UK know them as it was a pile of dough in the bowl which she scooped out, rolled into a ball and then flattened them slightly an then into the frying pan.
Wondered how the dough was made, whether any special way?
