The facepalm was not for you but for the “joke”
I just don’t think it’s funny. The girl did not badmouth a country by protesting against war.
Wars are bad and it’s good to protest against them. Sometimes they are a necessary evil to stop even bigger evil (Putin or Hitler for example)
But as the protest was against the Iraqi war this war was just an excuse for the USA to get a hand on the resources there (oil) and was a crime against the law of nations starting it
So this joke is just not a joke at all. The elderly woman should be a bit more open minded and less stubborn. If she is so “proud” of her country she should be also proud of the right to protest AND the right to have different opinions. She just behaves like a bitter old hag.
