Terribly sad news to hear the passing of Lucas, he and Amelie bought us many great moments over the years. As VHTV has said he was not killed in combat my only wish would be that Amelie and family were with Lucas at the end and he was not alone.

Since the news of Lucasâ death Iâve been thinking a lot about what to write here. But all the condolences I come up with feel like empty phrases.
Like it would be dishonest of me to say Iâd miss and never forget him, when, really, I barely even knew him. Am I even in a position to offer my condolences when Iâm really just a wanker who spends some money to watch other people fuck, or would that be cynical?
Truth is, to me Lucas was only one participant among many. I probably watched him and Amelie a couple of times, but they never were among my top favorites. He only really came to the forefront of my attention later, through his ominous absence and brief visits, due to the war. Something of a reminder. Real people. Real life.
His death now harshly puts things into perspective. Feels pretty decadent now, how we are sitting here, happily using the lives of others as our fapping material, while, not too far away, some of them are facing the most existential crisis. Makes you feel bad about yourself, doesnât it? And my disappointment in myself somehow reminds me of how disappointed I am of our governments who keep failing to properly support the Ukraine in the war effort.
I may not be able to do anything meaningful about the war, but I could do a little bot to support Amelie. So Iâd like to make a donation. If I have money to spare to subscribe to a naughty website, thatâs the least I could do. Should do, really. Difficult to find a good excuse not to do so. But I have not done so yet because I have some concerns about the proceedings.
If you click on the little ââŠâ icon next to the PayPal account email address that @VHTV_James gave us, it says they have no confirmation if that account is accessible by Amelie now. Hereâs where it gets complicated.
I donât know how Amelie and Lucas have arranged these things, or how it is usually done in the Ukraine, but in Germany, when somebody dies, the banks lock down their accounts so that nobody can get at the money, until itâs legally cleared who the rightful heirs are and all the proper paperwork is filed. So if the money that comes in via PayPal is transfered to a bank accout that is registered to Lucasâ name only, that would be a huge problem. Cards or online banking wouldnât work anymore. If they were not married, and Lucas didnât leave a proper Last Will and Testament in Amelieâs favor, which is recognized by the authorities, Amelie wonât be able to access that money.
So is there a way to find out if that PayPal account ist still a viable way to support Amelie? Shouldnât their manager know more? I have no idea who that would be. Or is anyone else in close enough contact with her to sensibly ask? Any other ideas?

Firstly I would like to offer my condolences to Pearl and Oskar after this terrible loss. After all, the two of them were very close friends, I think. And they will help Amelie through these difficult hours.
I would also like to mention that I am very proud to be a part of this worldwide forum. Because what I have read in the last few days is absolutely marvellous. And I think that if Amelie and her loved ones have the strength to read something from us again, whenever the time comes, it will help them a lot. At least thatâs my hope, that we can help them regain their strength.

Youâre completely right. I was thinking I should stop watching this content after this happened. Even when Amelie and Lucas were the only ones I was watching lately on this website.
His death is in on my mind past two days and itâs terrible feeling. I canât imagine how Amelie has to feel now. If there would be some official donation link where she would really get the money from I would go for it as well. Itâs not much in this situation but at least something we can do. Anyways I still canât believe it all ended like this.

It is most likely that Amelie is the owner of the account, purely because it was used to purchase things during and before the war, the chance that Lucas has access to the internet and had time to do internet banking at the front seems very likely to me small

the names of the account are âartist namesâ, that is, not their real names, but the names as we know them, so it might as well have been mickeyMouse or some other fictitious name

And that is what unsettles Julio. But I fully agree with you that Amelie certainly has other things on her mindâŠ
If one donât feel good about a donation because of uncertainty, one should simply not donate. (imo)

OK, Iâll try again to explain the problems I see with this PayPal account. We only have very little actual information here, so this is mostly based on my own experiences.
I only have experiences with how these things are done in Germany, but the way itâs done is actually very logical and reasonable, so I can only assume itâs somewhat similar in the Ukraine.
We know Lucas and Amelie had this PayPal account, and we know that VHTV doesnât know whether or not that PayPal account is accessible to Amelie anymore.
And it isnât really the PayPal account that matters, itâs the bank account behind that PayPal account that Iâm worried about.
I could say my PayPal account is only an interface for my real bank account, every Euro I spend via PayPal is taken from my bank account, every Euro I receive via PayPal goes directly into my bank account.
I could let my girlfriend use may PayPal account, could let her use my online banking, she could even get her own debit card to my bank account, with her name printed on it.
When I get run over by a truck all of that goes away. The bank locks down my bank account, it basically becomes a black hole for money. Money can come in, for example via my PayPal account, but nothing gets out. No withdrawals, no debit card, no online banking, no PayPal shopping. Until the authorities have determined who is legally entitled to access my funds.
And that wonât be my girlfriend, because from a banking and legal point of view âgirlfriendâ is equivalent to ârandom strangerâ. Unless I left a waterproof Last Will and Testament in my girlfriendâs favor, my money would be split up between my parents and siblings.
We donât know how Lucas and Amelie arranged their finances. I could be that they created a shared bank account for their VHTV income and PayPal donations, including sensible arrangements in the event that something should happen to one of them. But most young lovers donât worry that much about banking technicalities or their own mortality. I think itâs more likely they just used one of their individual bank accounts.
And thatâs why, from my point of view, I see a very real possibility that whatever money goes to that PayPal account may not be accessible to Amelie anymore. In the worst case, if they used Lucasâ bank account for all of this, it might even be that sheâs cut off from her VHTV income right now.
Am I worrying too much? Well, this definitely worries me. If we want to support Amelie we need to know if our support actually reaches her.

I have been away and it is heart breaking to get back, check in and to hear this terrible news. My heart goes out to you Amelie and to all Ukrainians who suffer this terrible war. May you find such peace as you can in these awful circumstances. Like many of us on the Forum for whom you and Lucas enlightened our lives, I grieve for you and your family and friends.

I see people are cautious of sending money via PayPal, can you do as a special occasion allow for people to send VHTV tokens without the various cuts taken off? So Amelie will receive the full amount.

Damn, this is hard.
I came here for my voyeuristic fetish⊠nothing else, ye its fun to âget to knowâ the people and have your favorites but in the end we look at them like pornstars, get our satisfaction and continue on with our lives.
Never thought Iâd get so invested in these strangers. I guess since Lucas was the only VHTV participant who had âseriousâ business to take care off outside of the website this couple always intrigued me.
It also makes me feel âdirtyâ that we see these people as nothing more then sex-objects and we sometimes forget that these are people with their own troubles and tribulations.
All love and strenght to Amelie and their families. This war is dreadfull, completely senseless and it - like so many other wars - drags younger generations into a conflict formed by older generations.
RIP Lucas, you might be gone but you are immortalised as a hero for your country.
