Does anyone know if it’s a Russian tradition to set up Christmas trees for new year instead of Christmas? They all appear to celebrate new year with Christmas decorations.
Christmas is on January 7th in Russia.
Russian Christmas is commonly celebrated in early January. I’m Not sure of the exact date.
