I count nine in this picture, but I must have missed your first picture with nine in it. Where is that one?

It was at Medea’s place, when Goldie and Teresa was in exile there, I can’t seem to find it, perhaps it was all just in my imagination. I just wanted so badly to have gotten a pic with all nine cats in it
Anyway, I posted this back then.

So I guess the pic above is the record when it comes to pics. But how on earth do you count nine there? I still get seven. Well, it can be a little confusing here when the kittens bundle up. Like is there seven or eight cats in this pic?

- Two on the floor.
- Two at the foot of the bed.
- One in her lap.
- Three in the corner by the pillow where Musya is—did I spell that right?
- One up by her head, which appears to be the one she’s looking at, although that could be a mirage.
Here, this might help.
In this picture, I see 8 or 9, depending on how you unbundle the grey and white ones at the foot of the bed, whether you count a tail as a cat and whether you count a single ear as a cat.
- Four in the bottom left corner, including one ear and one tail.
- Three in the grey and white bundle, but you’re more familiar with their markings, I could be wrong.
- The white one.
- The one on the table.

Just to be fair the maximum cat count at Sans Realm is 8,
6 kittens plus Musya and Evie, unless some of the guest cats return to visit.

That little black triangle sticking up from the bottom of the frame is a cat’s ear. Wouldn’t that be eight?

Staying in San’s apartment for this one and we seem to have here, the feline version of ‘spooning’! …

I did notice that, but I determined that can not be cat related, the only black eared cats here are Musya whose head is in the next circle, and Evie who is on the table, I suspect that is the corner of some cloth object.

Ah yes, your improvement of the pic makes me think twice. I counted two in the corner, but there might actually be three. Still, that makes it eight. And I’ll take @Edd5512’s word for it, there’s maximum eight cats here. He seems to be well up to date about San’s place.
So now we need two more cats here to beat the record from about two years ago, which was at one of Medea’s former apartments
